About the Formulation
Xtraclear is a lubricating and moisturizing ophthalmic solution containing Sodium Hyaluronate 0.15%, Polyethylene Glycol 400 0.4%, and Propylene Glycol 0.3%, formulated to provide long-lasting hydration and relief from ocular surface dryness and irritation.
Indication / Uses
Used for temporary relief of dry, irritated, burning, gritty, or uncomfortable eyes associated with dry eye and tear-film instability.
Mechanism of Action (MOA)
Sodium Hyaluronate forms a moisture-retaining protective layer over the ocular surface, while Polyethylene Glycol 400 and Propylene Glycol act as lubricants and humectants that help retain moisture and stabilize the tear film. Together, they provide lubrication, hydration, and protection of the ocular surface.
