About the Formulation
Carboease is a lubricating ophthalmic solution containing Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium 0.5% w/v, formulated to provide relief from dry and irritated eyes. Stabilized Oxychloro Complex 0.005% w/v acts as a preservative system to help maintain the sterility of the ophthalmic solution.
Indication / Uses
Used for temporary relief of burning, irritation, dryness, and discomfort associated with dry eyes and tear-film instability.
Mechanism of Action (MOA)
Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium is a viscoelastic ocular lubricant that forms a protective, moisture-retaining layer over the ocular surface, helping stabilize the tear film and reduce friction and irritation caused by dryness.
