About the Formulation
Nuroflow is a combination antiemetic and analgesic formulation containing Prochlorperazine Maleate 5 mg and Paracetamol 650 mg. It is formulated to provide relief from nausea and vomiting along with associated pain or fever, particularly in conditions such as migraine.
Indication / Uses
Used for the management of nausea and vomiting associated with migraine and other conditions accompanied by pain or fever.
Mechanism of Action (MOA)
Prochlorperazine primarily blocks dopamine D₂ receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone, helping to control nausea and vomiting. Paracetamol provides analgesic and antipyretic effects, reducing pain and fever. Together, they provide combined relief from nausea, headache, pain, and fever.
